Aaron ventured across the country to San Diego, California, for an awesome week of attractions with his brother, sister, mother and father. He began his encounter with his first ride in a limousine to the airport. His first flight on an airplane was fun because his father fell asleep and started snoring. They made very good use of the hotel swimming pool and restaurants. While dining, he received an unexpected surprise when he was able to eat breakfast every morning with The United Soccer Club from Guam who provided him with a souvenir T-shirt.
His attractions adventure began with a trip to Wild Kingdom, where he was able to see gazelles, water buffalo, and lions (which he liked because they started to chase something). The following day, Sea World was an adventure as he was able to feed the dolphins "salty fish," pet the manta ray, see sharks and penguins, and was splashed by Shamu as a sign of affection.

On the third day, Aaron and his family visited Legoland, which "was so much fun" for Aaron and his family. They enjoyed hanging out with Darth Vadar, R2D2, Harry Potter, and Aragon. He really loved "The Robot," a water-shooting ride which "went fast and upside down BUT did not make the blood go to your head."
But the final day of his trip was Aaron's favorite day. He visited the San Diego Zoo where Aaron was invited to be an honorary zookeeper. While working at his new job, he became close with a family of Visayan Warty Pigs: Chunky Mama, Big Papa, Lucy, Sally, Scaredy Pig, and Lisa." Aaron won their hearts by feeding them monkey treats. Chunky Mama gracefully showed her appreciation with a kiss on Aaron's knee. Aaron also saw a day-old giraffe that was 6 feet tall at birth!
He flew home with many treasured memories and souvenirs, his favorite being a book from the San Diego Zoo and Wild Kingdom. Aaron had a wonderful time and would love to go back to visit again. And according to Aaron's mom, "We really enjoyed the family time together and left with memories of a great summer. Last summer was hard on everyone and with Make-A-Wish, we all realized that things do get better in life. We have each other..."
